铜大缸是一种铜制的器具，很多人都选择用铜缸装水，那么铜缸装水好吗？

其实，用铜缸装水不是一个好的办法，铜很容易被潮湿空气氧化变成绿色的氧化铜（俗称铜锈），氧化铜和水接触就会被腐蚀溶解，水容易变绿，即使现在过滤去掉了铜锈，过不久又会重新出现，所以铜缸最好不要用来装水或是养鱼、花草。因为生铜锈是避免不了的，而且时间长了就会烂掉。铜缸应该保持干燥，可以考虑在彻底清洁除锈了之后，涂一层保护漆来保护它。

Copper cylinders should be kept dry. Consider applying a protective paint to protect them after thorough cleaning and rust removal.
